The Life Audit
By: Malik Peace
This is a simple tool here to help you visualize how much time you have left and how much of it goes to waste.
Time is arguably the most important thing you have.
Most of us live our entire lives rarely thinking about how much time we have and how we spend it. Mostly because we're busy spending that time distracted, but also because it's incredibly scary to think about what happens when the time runs out.
The goal is for you to understand how much or how little time you have, and where it's going, so you're at least aware to make changes if needed.
Warning: Might get a bit existential lol

Anyways, I hope this is useful to you. Enjoy :)
Okay, first question...
Are you a human being?
This gives you around 75 years of life to live.*
When's your birthday?
So we can calculate exactly how much of your life you've used up already.
How many hours do you sleep per night?
(8 is recommended, but don't lie lol)
8How many hours do you spend working and/or school per day?
This is calculated as 5 days/week.
8How many hours go to human maintenance tasks?
Cooking, cleaning, commuting, using the bathroom, showering, buying groceries, etc. The "boring" life tax stuff.
2.5What's your average daily screen time?
Actually, take a second to go check your actual screen time right now. It's probably higher than you think.
6What percentage of your screentime is vapid and useless?
This is doomscrolling. Brainrotting. Wasting time.
⚠️ And be 100% honest. This is the most subjective question only you know the answer to. You know when you're using your phone as a tool vs a distraction.
